Block I · Nature of the service
Article 1 — Nature of the service
League Pix (“LP” or “the Platform”) is a technology service provider that facilitates the organization of sports prediction leagues among private users. LP supplies the infrastructure, management tools, and scoring system; it does not act at any time as a bookmaker, gaming house, financial intermediary, or entity regulated under any gaming or sweepstakes law.
Use of the Platform implies full acceptance of these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If the user does not agree with any provision, they must refrain from using LP.
Article 2 — Platform fees and plans
LP offers the following plans and fees in exchange for the technology services it provides. All prices include applicable Mexican VAT and are listed in Mexican pesos (MXN), unless stated otherwise at the point of purchase:
- Free: $0 MXN. Allows the creation of limited friendly leagues (no money pool). No expiration.
- Pay to Play: $19.90 MXN per participant per league, charged to each participant when joining a league. The organizer pays no fee.
- Pack Organizador Pro: one-time payment charged to the organizer granting redeemable credits to activate extended features (advanced statistics, rankings, AI summaries, among others announced in the plans panel) on their leagues, valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Specific conditions for the credits are described in Article 2-bis.
- Comisionado: one-time payment charged to the organizer, proportional to the number of league players, that activates the extended features for all participants enrolled in that league.
The above fees are consideration for technology services. They are independent of the members’ arrangement formed within each league (Block II) and in no event constitute a wager, participation in the arrangement, or commission on third-party earnings.
No plan offered by LP includes automatic renewal or recurring charges. Plan details are shown at the point of purchase and are available in the plans panel and the user profile.
Article 2-bis — Packs and redeemable credits
The “Pack Organizador Pro” described in Article 2 operates under the following credit scheme:
- One-time payment. The pack is acquired through a single payment. There is no automatic renewal nor any kind of recurring charge.
- Expiration. Unused credits expire 12 months after the date of purchase of the pack. Expired credits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Consumption upon creation. Each credit is consumed at the time a league using it is created. The resulting league retains its activated features for its full duration, even if the originating pack has already expired.
- Credit refund. If the organizer cancels a league created with a credit within 24 hours of its creation and provided no participant has yet joined, the consumed credit will be returned to the pack. Cancellations made after that window do not return the credit.
- Non-transferable. Credits are tied to the purchasing organizer’s account. They may not be assigned, sold, transferred, or gifted to another account.
- Additional purchases. If credits are exhausted, the organizer may purchase another pack at the same price. No discounts apply for repeat purchases within the active period.
- Persistence of features. Features activated in leagues created using credits remain available in those leagues even after the originating pack has expired or its credits are exhausted.
LP reserves the right to modify the price, number of credits, or validity of the pack for future purchases, without affecting packs already purchased by users under the terms in effect at the time of their purchase.
Article 3 — Predominance of skill
League Pix is designed so that participants’ performance depends predominantly on their knowledge and analysis of the sport, not on chance. The scoring system rewards exact-score predictions (3 points), correct outcome predictions (1 point), and does not penalize errors, allowing skill accumulated through the season to be the determining factor.
LP does not guarantee any sporting outcome and does not control the scores that determine points.
Article 4 — Access and accounts
To use LP, the user must register an account with truthful, current, and complete information. Access is restricted to persons 18 years of age or older. Upon registering, the user affirms under oath that they meet this requirement.
Each account is personal and non-transferable. The user is responsible for keeping their credentials confidential and for all activities carried out from their account.
Block II · The members’ private arrangement
Article 5 — Members’ arrangement as a private civil agreement
Any monetary arrangement that members of a league agree to form is a private civil agreement entered into exclusively among those members, outside of LP. LP is not a party to that agreement, does not administer the funds of such arrangement, and does not act as custodian, trustee, or guarantor of any amount.
Payments related to the members’ arrangement are made directly between the Owner and the participants using the methods they themselves agree upon outside the Platform. LP does not process, receive, or redistribute such payments at any time.
Article 6 — Owner control
Each league has a user designated as the “Owner” (creator/administrator). The Owner has authority to configure league parameters (registration deadline, maximum number of members, active matchdays, among others) and assumes responsibility for communicating to members the internal rules relating to the members’ arrangement.
LP does not supervise or validate the Owner’s administrative decisions regarding the management of the members’ arrangement. Other members accept these conditions when they join the league via the invitation code.
Article 7 — Closed leagues by invitation
Leagues on LP are private groups that can only be accessed via an invitation code generated by the Owner. LP does not publish or promote leagues publicly. The closed nature of the leagues reinforces the private character of the agreement among their members.
The Owner is responsible for distributing the code only to persons they trust and for not sharing it on open channels.
Article 8 — Distribution of the arrangement
The rules for distributing the members’ arrangement (single winner, top-3, percentages, etc.) are freely agreed upon among members and administered by the Owner. LP provides the final points scoreboard as objective reference, but the actual distribution of funds is the exclusive responsibility of the members themselves.
Block III · Liability and compliance
Article 9 — LP does not guarantee the arrangement
LP does not guarantee, endorse, or insure the existence, integrity, or distribution of the members’ arrangement agreed among members. Should the Owner or any other member fail to comply with the private agreement, LP has no obligation to intervene, mediate, or compensate those affected.
Users acknowledge that the Platform is an organizational tool and that the risk of non-compliance with the members’ arrangement falls exclusively on the participants.
Article 10 — Disputes between members
Any controversy regarding the members’ arrangement, league internal rules, or participant behavior must be resolved directly between the parties involved. LP may, at its discretion and without any obligation, provide information about the points recorded in the Platform as a reference data point.
LP does not act as arbitrator or mediator in disputes between users.
Article 11 — Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LP shall not be liable for: (a) economic losses arising from agreements between members; (b) service interruptions due to force majeure or maintenance; (c) errors in sports data provided by third parties; (d) decisions made by the Owner or participants within their league.
LP’s total liability to any user, for any cause, shall not exceed the amount paid by such user to LP during the previous 3 calendar months.
Article 12 — Lawful use
The user undertakes to use LP in accordance with the law applicable in their place of residence. In particular, the user is solely responsible for determining whether the members’-arrangement dynamic they organize with their contacts is permitted in their jurisdiction. LP does not provide legal advice and cannot guarantee that use of the Platform is lawful in all territories.
Final provisions
Article 13 — Modification of terms
LP reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Modifications will be communicated to registered users at least 15 days in advance via email and/or notice within the Platform. Continued use of LP after the effective date of the changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Article 14 — Suspension and termination
LP may suspend or cancel a user’s access immediately and without prior notice in case of: (a) breach of these Terms; (b) fraudulent or abusive conduct; (c) use of the Platform for unlawful activities.
The user may cancel their account at any time from their profile settings. Cancellation does not give rise to a refund of fees already paid, except as required by applicable law.
Article 15 — Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Mexican States. For any controversy arising from or relating to these Terms, the parties expressly submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, waiving any other jurisdiction that might correspond to them by reason of their present or future domiciles.
Article 16 — General provisions
If any provision of these Terms is declared invalid or unenforceable, the rest will remain in full force. LP’s failure to exercise any right does not constitute a waiver of that right. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between LP and the user regarding use of the Platform and supersede any prior agreement.
